Alan James Minchin Kilroy was an army officer in the British Army. He served in India and rose through the ranks to be promoted to Lieutent Colonel. Subsequently, Alan returned to Oldcastle and purchased Castlecor House and farm in the 1930’s, where he later established a noted prize winning Jersey dairy herd. A.J.M. Kilroy was married to Jill. He was President of the IGA from 1965-1966.
